      Hi there,

I have had a major issue with Minecraft getting more and more glitchy, crashing, and not working online almost at all, and contacted Mojang Customer Support as an account error message for Switch suggested...however, they could not fix any of it and sent me here...yet, all of the search results here say to contact Minecraft Customer Support. That would just loop me back and forth with no success. Version ID is technically all, but it is definitely the worst in the current version if that has anything to do with it. Here are more details on the issues:

My kids have Minecraft and Dungeons on their Nintendo Switch and Minecraft on the iPad. iPad and the account associated with it always work fine, but the Nintendo Switch version continues to get worse and worse and is now nearly unusable. Games randomly crash with no data as to what type of error, just "the game was closed due to an error", the Marketplace almost never loads and says there is an account error that requires reaching out to support if it isn't gone in a few days (has happened all year), connecting to the iPad or anyone else online hasn't been working, and the latest issue seems to be that all menus, and buttons take 2-3 minutes to load before doing anything after being pressed.

We have tried pretty much every troubleshooting idea we could. Support suggested I retry all those ideas, even though I have done them many times. It used to fix some things and work, specifically by hard resetting the Nintendo and going into the Data Management area, checking for corrupted data, and then having it reinstall Minecraft (which used to make us go thru the long verification process of signing in all over again...but it now remembers credentials and signs ins no matter what we do or reset...even the cache). Nothing works.

We haven't tried completely deleting Minecraft, as a redownload seemed to suffice in the past, but there are several profiles with worlds and data that aren't connected to an online account for backing up.
        # Here are some ideas of what I can think is wrong. They have signed into Dungeons with the same account. It used to conflict with Minecraft and one would sign the other out. However, there seems to be no sign out option in the current version of Dungeons (ours IS signed in right now, and sign ins didn't work properly for a long time). Both games now stay signed in. Perhaps, it is confusing regular Minecraft.

      1. The Nintendo is like 6 years old. They didn't build them super strong.
      2. Nintendo is the weakest platform for Minecraft.
      3. Both kids are signed in to the same Microsoft account on the Nintendo so no matter who plays, they can have access to their Realms subscription (which pretty much doesn't work anymore). Shouldn't matter if only one profile can control Nintendo at a time. They both have individual Nintendo accounts as they can't play multiplayer worlds without one.

Even if online ends up loading properly after 10+ minutes, every single game says "Invalid session" over the marketplace or the account issue message...but after waiting 5ish minutes, the error messages used to go away (all year...like it was just a slow loading thing on Nintendo's weak processor), and Minecraft would function normally until a random game closure error, which were less common.

So far, it hasn't worked the past few days, even after everything loaded and looked normal. It won't actually bring up an online world. Judging on how difficult it is to get the settings menu to open, it might not even load a regular world.

That's about all I have. They do run YouTube channels like Preston's, Bri's, Aphmau's, Shark's, etc., but as kids for kids, and it doesn't look like recording is gonna work anymore.

They use the online features to play with each other on different screens, play with their cousin, enhance the YouTube videos, and access Marketplace mods/Realms.

Again, support sent me here, so being routed back to support won't really be helpful unless you can convince them to look elsewhere and not suggest basic troubleshooting.

Any help would be critical. Thank you!
