Light blocks of all levels are only visible while the player is holding a barrier, not a light block. (Still can only interact with a light block though)

I'd assume this is to do with the fact the both blocks are particles that become visible when their respective items are held, and that the light blocks are basically a barrier-structure void mix that produces light.
