The game will freeze and continue to apply the last input while mining basalt from a basalt farm. This results in the character looking and mining where it is not desired.
It can be replicated each and every time I attempt to use the farm, with only a short time needed between each occurrence. This farm has been used without issue for several years and tens of thousands of blocks.
Steps to reproduce:
1: turn on farm
2: stand in water stream providing mining boost from conduit
3: look at column of basalt and move camera in an oval motion up and down the column
4: press the mine button to mine
Expected result is a movement of the character view to mine the continually generated basalt column without issue. Observed issue is that the controls seem to lock. This makes the camera veer off and mining continues even when all controls have been released.
This farm is where I first noticed the issue, but after playing more it appears to be affecting general gameplay. Particularly when running around and moving the camera.
The farm uses a basic redstone clock, 8 double basalt generators, with two groups of quick pistons (with quick turnoff) to make a column to be mined from. Mining speed is boosted by a water column and full conduit.
