If you install the Vanilla Behavior Pack, or even go into the actual game files, then check the recipes folder, there are no recipes for the following:

• Wooden Sword from original planks
• Wooden Pickaxe from original planks
• Wooden Axe from original planks
• Wooden Shovel from original planks
• Wooden Hoe from original planks

The "original planks" mentioned are the following:

• Oak
• Spruce
• Birch
• Jungle
• Acacia
• Dark Oak

I don't know why this is, but I wanted to remove the recipe by replacing it with another.
