As you can see in the screenshots, waterlogged stairs are affected by this weird shades bug when there's something near them: in my case, a lilypad and a small dripleaf. This bug is not new and affected so many 1.19 betas, but I never reported it. Thank you for fixing this game, I appreciate your efforts.
