In 1.19.10 and the previous version update, the leashing function for Allays is a bit off for Touch Screen uses on Android Bedrock.
Expected Behavior:
- Give an item to the Allay. Hold item and hover on Allay. Select the Give Item to Allay Button.
- Hold Lead and hover on Allay. Should say Leash. Select to Leash Allay.
- While Allay is leashed, hovering on Allay should say Unleash. Select to Unleash Allay.
Actual Behavior:
- Give an item to the Allay. Hold item and hover on Allay. Select the Give Item to Allay Button.
- Hold Lead and hover on Allay. Says Give Item to Allay. If selected, the Allay is leashed.
- While Allay is leashed, hover on Allay. Says Give Item to Allay. If selected, the Allay is unleashed.
Issue:
- The Allay should only show the Give Item to Allay button IF the Allay is not already holding an item.
- If the Allay is already holding an item and a lead is used, the Leash button should be displayed.
- If the Allay is already holding an item and is already leashed, the Unleash button should be displayed if the player is not holding an empty hand.
- If the player is holding an empty hand, the hover text button should read Take Item From Allay.
The current setup is highly confusing for users and does not match the Allay behavior and is not consistent with the leashing process for other mobs in game.
Note that screen captures for this is almost impossible to provide due to the speed of the Allays. But this is easily replicated in testing.
