      Dear Minecraft Support!

I don't know where to report my issue so if it does not suit "bug" category, move it to feature request. I am playing Minecraft for 10 years already (since 2012). Back in the days I played it on my iPhone 5 and literally went through all major updates. I even remember the times when it only had limited worlds and was so happy when "infinite" was introduced. Since then my main gaming device was my old but still working iPad Air 2.

In the last two years game became too sluggish on this device. Gaming on my iPhone 11 Pro is not an option either - it has OLED screen and it hurts my eyes too much, I am sensitive to it's flicker. Month ago I finally decided to make my next Apple purchase - MacBook Air M1. Absolutely fantastic machine - fanless, 18 hours battery, beautiful IPS display. I heard that since Apple moved to its in-house chips, it can run iOS apps.

For a limited time it was possible to sideload the .ipa app and run it natively on MacBook, but since recent updates this option disappeared. When I tried to run my own .ipa of Minecraft that I had extracted using Apple Configurator I got no luck and a message: "The application cannot be installed because the developer did not intend for it to run on this platform". In the same time, lots of iOS games are now available for m1 Macs: GTA San Andreas, Vice City, III, Asphalt (8,9) etc. I want to know whether there will be a Mac App Store version of Minecraft. I Really want to be able to play it on Mac without the need to buy it again. I would have bought it if it was BEDROCK, but it is JAVA, and I don't want JAVA because it lacks certain features.

I hope somewhere in the future there will be a fully functional Minecraft for Apple Silicon

      Best Regards,
      -
