Note: Searching for this issue brought up a lot of other potentially related issues, but I wasn’t positive and so I made a report. Please merge or mark as duplicate and link to the “main” ticket if this is a duplicate. Thank you!
Also, apologies for the weird pictures. There isn’t an easy way to “share” photos from the Switch and so I took photos with my iPad.
Device: Nintendo Switch, dockable, running 14.1.1
Minecraft: 1.18.33
Bug:
I (and my partner) can’t “Edit Character” because when I click on it, or the “Character Creator” option in the left menu, I get the “We’re having trouble connecting to the Marketplace right now. Please try again later!” message.
No matter how many times either I or my partner try, we can never get past that error message.
Affects: Character Creator, Classic Skins, Emotes, and Capes.
Other:
What’s funny is that the Marketplace loads. Slowly, but it loads.
Also, unlike some other players who have reported similar bugs, we have both retained our skins from 1.17 (and we were still able to edit them at the time).
