I was mining in my survival world on the preview and I happened to stumble upon a wall of water that could only be an aquifer chunk having spawned within the air-filled cave that I was exploring. It also might be worth noting that this bug occurred directly below stone level, as can be seen in the upper right of the image that I have provided.
