When getting XP, the armor or elytra being worn on the player does not visually (durability bar) show that it is being repaired. It is until you remove the piece of armor or elytra and place it back or in an inventory slot that it will show that it has been mended correctly.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Obtain armor that has been damaged, and has mending enchantment on it
- Get XP
Observed Results:
Armor with mending does not appear to be mended, durability bar for the armor will remain the same damage as before getting XP. (Tested on PC and Mobile, which yield the same results).
Expected Results:
Armor should show that it has increased in durability again, provided enough XP has been "absorbed."

Notes:
This visual bug causes players (like myself) to believe we need more XP in order to mend armor fully, although it may already have been fully mended which may lead to waste of time or resources to obtain the XP.
