The light beam that projects from a beacon doesn't go up very high as i put one at y 0-ish and it only went up about halfway through a tube I had made for it (about 40 - 60 blocks) and a whole design piece I had for my build has become useless due to this as my base is at y 110 and I plan to use haste as a way to create a bunker type thing that goes down pretty far,

i still get the effects just wish i could see the beam coming from deep below.
