Recently noticed placing boats in certain places makes them disappear into the ground, so i did a bit of experimenting and found a way to reproduce the issue.
Steps to reproduce:

Place 1 grass block, then place another grass block 1 block away (can work with any block)

Place a boat in the resultant gap

It should disappear into the ground
