I play on PS4 bedrock 1.17.41. Every time I find an axolotl, I put it in a bucket, and it's supposed to not despawn. Also if you nametag a mob, it shouldn't despawn, however I did both, twice and came back 5 minutes later and they are both gone completely. They had a fenced off area with two pools one block apart and easy access to solid ground, I don't see the point in having axolotls in the game if they despawn every time you 'tame' them. Obviously this isn't meant to happen and I would be so happy if this was fixed. I like to play in survival so every time I have something despawn it gives me more reason to not play the game as it is not functioning properly. I'm aware this isn't the top of your priorities however it is still extremely infuriating when I think I can keep a cute upside down salamander called dinnerbone but it despawns seemingly as I leave the chunk. Don't think any drowned or mobs at all can spawn in the water as it's very small area, so I don't think they are dying without me realising. Also probably not linked but I had a zombified piglin walk through my nether portal and I put him in a little glass pane and iron bars cage like a study and I went to get a door from the room and came back and he despawned.
