Yesterday while gathering sand out in the middle of a wide open desert I started noticing mobs kept attacking me. I look up from my work and start seeing mobs spawn all around me, middle of the day, out in a desert.
There were no dark forest for them to spawn. I had been there for a good amount of time and slept as soon as I could every night. They WEREN'T mobs that spawned during the brief night. I literally witnessed them continually spawning out in the distance, again, in the middle of a wide open desert. They weren't walking out of caves, they weren't hiding under trees.
Reloading didn't fix the issue, flying far away and coming back didn't fix the issue. It may have resolved itself by now but I haven't attempted to go back to that cursed desert yet today. Unfortunately I didn't clip it. It's happened in my bedrock single player world. The world is around a year old now but updated to the current version.
