i am stuck on my horse

i opened a chest which had my horse on top of it, the game now thinks i am riding the horse and won't let me travel more than 200 blocks away from the horse because it teleports me back to the horse one block into the ground and registers me as 'riding' the horse. i have tried to ride the horse but i am locked out of riding it, only unmounting the horse. i have tried logging out of minecraft, turning off the console and restarting everything, also dying in game but i am stuck to this horse. i cannot do anything in game because i am tethered to the horse, it makes the game unplayable now
