Steps to reproduce:

1. Open inventory in creative mode world.

2. Tap an item in the creative inventory which stacks (dirt, for example).

3. Now open your inventory (chest icon)

4. Note that you have been given 64 dirt (or a maximum stack of whatever item you touched). It should not be like this. You should only receive a stack if you tap and hold on the item.
