I have tried searching google and official Nintendo help website but still not fix. I was offered help through the Minecraft Reddit Forum and Official Minecraft forums without success.

When trying to launch minecraft from the switch menu, I receive the following error message, "Could not start the software. Please try again from the home screen."

So far I have:

• Ensured the switch firmware is up to date
• Ensured the switch controllers are up to date
• Ensured the Minecraft software is up to date
• Tried a different Minecraft cartridge
• Purchased Minecraft digitally on the Nintendo eShop.
• Cleared the Switch Cache
• Checked for errors using the switch resource for this.
• Assured cloud back ups are in sync.
• Tried creating a new profile on the switch 
• Tried deleting then reinstalling software after rebooting Switch.

None of the above have resolved the issue. Minecraft is the only game it does this with, and seems to have been associated with updating to 1.17.30, but could have been present before hand.

My other son has a switch with the same set up but no issues at all.

As stated, I posted the error on the various forums and was advised to post here.
