Steps to reproduce:

1. Try creating another account rather than the first account you have.
2. Try opening a server like the hive server.
3. Open chat and write some text no one will see your chat.

I am severely affected by this issue if the minecraft team which has rather bigger issues decides to fix this I would be very grateful
