The Minecraft Marketplace will not load in for me. Upon looking this also seems to be a problem with others as well.

I recently got Minecraft for the PS4. I have had it on other platforms as well, namely pocket edition, and have spent some money on the marketplace. Naturally, I would like to have the purchases and skins I made on mobile, as well as be able to spend the tokens and use the mashup packs that were included with the disc I bought, but no matter what I try, the marketplace will just not load in. It instead just gets stuck on a screen that says:

"We're having trouble connecting to the Minecraft Store right now. Please try again later!"

It would be somewhat better if I could access my dressing room, but unfortunately I cannot even get into that. My 3rd (main) character cannot be loaded, and the reliability of my ability to get into the dressing room menu is iffy, at times the game just doesn't let me in to customize any characters at all or won't show any of my clothes. I have no idea what to do at this point. If someone could help me with this or get the issue fixed that would be great! Thank you for your time.
