I play Minecraft on a Samsung J701F/DS.  In all previous versions, whether beta or final,  I got approximately 60 frames per second.

Now, 1.17.40.20 beta is running RenderDragon on this phone.  The result is a drastic drop in performance, with FPS reduced to 3 -10 (with the lowest possible render and simulation distance set).  A screenshot showing this is attached.

Although there are other problems(lag and visual glitches), this is by far the most game-breaking.

I do not see the benefits of running RenderDragon on mid- to lower-tier phones.

May I suggest that an opt-out for RenderDragon be introduced for mobile users, so that those with high-level phones can enjoy the benefits thereof and the rest still be able to play the game?

Until some solution is found, I will have to leave the beta program.
