You cannot connect to a game on the lan when using a wired usb ethernet adapter on Android. Minecraft is able to find and display the lan game but as soon as you select it you get the error "Unable to connect to the world. Please check your connection to the internet and try again". This is happening on a Pixel C and Nvidia Shield Tablet.
