The first dye to be used on a sheep was cactus green. After I dyed the first sheep, I switched to rose red. In the dock it looked like rose red, and when clicked on it said rose red, but the image (in first person view) showed cactus green. It still dyed sheep correct color.

Replicate by creating new world, choosing two cactus green dyes, dyeing two sheep cactus green, then returning to chest, and getting out either rose red or dandelion yellow, placing it first in dock, then attempting to hold it.
