I see mob spawning right in front of me, both passive and hostile, this is terrible. I own Java edition too and the mob spawning is not nearly that close. I don't think this is a render issue because hostile mob doesn't see to notice the player right away and I own a high end device, also I've been playing on Realms server, which by the way is having connection issues since yesterday (11 Aug).

This behavior is been ruin my experience, I've played bedrock on Android before and I don't remember having this kind of mob spawning.

Technically speaking I know that on Java edition mobs can spawn at around 22 blocks distance from player, on bedrock I've saw a sheep spawning at 2 block from me and hostiles at something like 8 or 10 blocks distance. This is terrible! I'm a experienced player and I'm trying to play with my little sister, but I had to set to easy difficulty because as soon as the night came... I have to fight dozens of mobs, without be able to go anywhere, is like a Walking Dead scene.

I don't know if this is related to the chunks rendering I understand that on mobile this seen to be lower that on pc, but this needs to be balanced as well. Is impossible to stay awake at the night and to go the ocean because too many mobs spawn too nearly to the player. Really the amount of Drowned in the ocean is ridiculous, there is always something like 7 drowned at the ocean, as soon as you agro a few to kill then, 4 more will already be spawned . Thankfully tridents aren't that strong on bedrock ...
