On Bedrock Edition, during a snowfall, all the leaves of the trees turn white, but this does not apply to the leaves of the Azalea. Check: 

1. You are in the winter biome.
2. Grow an azalea tree.
3. Set weather to rain (in snow biomes it is snowfall).
