When you're turning your elytra to either left and right, and then when the elytra are going horizontal, the turning animation isn't smooth, instead it skips over and immediately snaps to horizontal position.

Step to Reproduce
1. Fly with elytra.
2. Turn to either left or right. (try to go down to easily repro this)
3. Let it go back to the horizontal position.

Observed Results
The turning doesn't go smoothly, instead it snaps immediately to the horizontal position.

Expected Results
The turning should go smoothly back to horizontal after turning right/left.
