During snowfall in cold biomes, snow layers start to stack on top of each other. However, after the weather clears, the snow keeps its added height. This creates high snow blocks that are growing up to 8 snow layers tall, which completly destroys the aesthetic of snowy landscpapes and makes building houses and bases less fun. Pictures below show a few examples how the absurd snow height makes builds and surroundings less appealing.

      Steps to reproduce:
      1. Go to cold and snowy biomes
      2. Let it snow for a while

      Observed results:
Snow keeps stacking and continues to grow in height, but doesn't melt during daytime after snowfall ends.

      Expected results:
Snow should stack during snowfall but should also melt and decrease in height during daytime after snowfall ends.
