I am player 2 on a local shared world. We gave killed the ender dragon, traversed the end, and used the exit portal several times previously.

Since the last update, when I try to use the exit portal one of two things happens; either,

1) I die and respawn with nothing, with the "fell from a great height" message, or,

2) I begin to spawn by my bed but the game crashes on the "generating terrain" screen.

This is extra frustrating as I was carrying the Dragon Egg the first time this happened, which is now lost.
