What happened:

I was fishing. then I entered the "how to play" menu  and  read for some time (5-10 minutes). then I resumed the game and the death screen appeared. the message was: "steve was slain by drowned" 

What should happen:

**the game should pause when reading the "how to play" menu and continue after you exit the "how to play" menu.

How to recreate:

1 set time to day

2 go into survival mode

3 go next to a river with some drowned inside

4 open inventory

5 go to "how to play" menu (crafting)

6 wait aproximately 10 minutes 

7 resume game 

8 death message should appear (killed by drowned) (or any other mob)
