The anvil I was using in my base broke after 3 uses. Playing on a friends bedrock realm when I noticed the anvil updated to slightly broken after the 1st use, to more broken at 2nd use, and then after my third use, it broke. I don't remember anvils working like this, but I also haven't heard anything like this being put in new updates, but seems like a waste of 3 iron blocks and 4 ingots to me...
