Minecraft menu screen is completely blank with only the background image of the amethyst panning, nothing can be accessed and the entire program has to be restarted in order to play. Has happened multiple times over many days and has happened multiple times in a row after Minecraft and console has been restarted. It seems to be completely random whenever this will happen. As far as I know, it has only happened when the console is disconnected from the internet.

The Nintendo Switch lite that this has happened on is not jailbroken or modded in any way.
