      Summary:

I host an SMP for some students at my school, and some of us use Bedrock Edition, and some of us use Java Edition. Since these versions are not normally compatible, we host a server on Java Edition with the amazing plugin GeyserMC. When 1.17 came out, we decided to turn on the Caves & Cliffs Preview. When Java Edition players go below y=0, all is normal. When Bedrock Edition players go below y=0, nothing renders. They are still standing on blocks with hitboxes, but their textures don't render, and the blocks just look like air. I don't think this is a bug with GeyserMC, because the blocks are still being sent to the client. I think this is a Minecraft: Bedrock Edition client rendering issue.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Create a new folder for a Minecraft server.
      2. Download spigot-1.17.jar from https://download.getbukkit.org/spigot/spigot-1.17.jar to that folder.
      3. Create a new folder named, "plugins" inside that folder.
      4. Download GeyserMC from https://ci.opencollab.dev//job/GeyserMC/job/Geyser/job/master/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/bootstrap/spigot/target/Geyser-Spigot.jar to that plugins folder.
      5. Download Floodgate from https://ci.opencollab.dev/job/GeyserMC/job/Floodgate/job/master/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/spigot/target/floodgate-spigot.jar to that plugins folder.
      6. Create a new folder named, "Geyser-Spigot" inside the plugins folder.
      7. Download the config from https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Sy7LCLpe-SGaAf2omOOpsEZQp6oYu79Y/view?usp=sharing to the Geyser-Spigot folder.
      8. Start the server using Java 16.
      9. Stop and close the server.
      10. Open eula.txt inside the server's root folder, and replace "eula=false" with "eula=true".
      11. Open Minecraft: Java Edition and generate a new world with the Caves & Cliffs Preview datapack for 1.17.
      12. Close Minecraft: Java Edition and copy that world to the server.
      13. Delete the "world" folder on the server.
      14. Rename your new world folder to "world".
      15. Start the server using Java 16.
      16. Open Minecraft: Pocket Edition or Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition and connect to the server with the ip: "0.0.0.0" and port: "25565"
      17. Op yourself and go into creative mode.
      18. Dig down below y=0.
      19. Stop flying.

      Observed Results:

The player is standing on what looks like thin air, but is actually deepslate.

      Expected Results:

The player should look like they are standing on nothing to Minecraft: Bedrock Edition players.
