Lately there have been no surface caves generating in new worlds I've created on the Nintendo Switch version of the game. The world I began on June 8th after the 1.17 update generated surface caves just fine, and continues to do so for new chunks that load in. Now, after the 1.17.1 update surface caves are not generating; however, small thoroughfares that appear to be surface caves will appear. Ravines also still generate as well as caves that lead to ravines. This makes it difficult to find iron early-game because there are almost no caves that generate below Y: 63. I have downloaded and redownloaded the game several times, and I still have this problem.

I've tested the seeds from the Nintendo Switch in which no surface caves generate on an Xbox One and those seeds still do not produce surface caves. When I create a world that generates surface caves on the Xbox One and use the seed on my Nintendo Switch, surface caves do generate in the world. Seems like just the seeds the Switch creates? Thus perhaps related to the hotfix?

Some seeds in which I've been unable to find any surface caves (not including cave-like thoroughfares or caves that lead to ravines):
