No experience from mining copper, iron, and gold ore

      I've been trying to find out if mining the new copper ore drops experience like all others. In my new 1.17 Survival anytime I mine copper, I do not get any experience. I'm unsure if this is just a change Mojang has made or if it truly should be dropping XP. If anyone knows the answer or is this is an actual bug, your help would be much appreciated
