      UPDATE: RESOLVED!!!

Turns out the issue was a resource pack that I use by default in all my worlds, Hattoricraft. Never had any issues with it prior and even used it immediately after the 1.16 update without any issues at all. Definitely do not use this resource pack on Windows 10 until the creator updates it or you can say goodbye to your frames!

I am experience severe lag when viewing a player built structure made of a mix of Stone Bricks, Mossy Stone Bricks, Stone Brick Stairs and Cracked Stone Bricks. As soon as the structure is out of view, the lag stops. I assumed initially that the Nether Portal in the building may have been an issue, but after destroying the portal, the lag was still there. This persists inside the building as well until I go into the basement of the structure which is strictly Stone Bricks and Deep Slate.

I have attempted to adjust my video settings down to the lowest possible and still have not been able to eliminate the lag while looking at the structure. The dimensions of the structure are 22 x 22 x 20 and the interior contains chests, torches, item frames with items placed on them, Acacia wood planks, Dark Oak planks and Dark Oak fences assembled to be a item storage warehouse with manual organization and zero redstone.

As a contrast, the Iron Farm located 100+ blocks away from the structure with an auto sorting system produces no lag while viewing either the farm operating or the redstone lamps signaling items being transported into storage silos. At this distance with a render distance of 80 chunks, I can look to the location of the problem structure and experience no lag at all. However, once I approach the structure within about 50 blocks while looking at it, the lag immediately returns. Further experimenting determined that I do not experience lag while the structure is on the periphery of my screen and walking around it, but once about 1/4 of the structure is visible, the lag returns.

      UPDATE:

      Seed: 2065486297

I generated another world with the same seed, built an entirely different structure in the same location and still encounter the same issue at that location under the same constraints and attempted all known fixes for lag (lowering settings, etc) and still encounter lag at that location when looking directly at the location. My only assumption is there is something in the chunk(s) on the vertical plane that is causing issues or because the structure is between 2 or more chunks.
