      This bug report is a parity issue with Java.

      Summary:

      You cannot place or add candles by aiming at the side of an adjacent block.
      When adding candles (1.17.11), it was impossible to place more than 1 candle aiming at an adjacent block or pivot block, but now you can place and add candles aiming at a pivot block, but you cannot place candles aiming at a side block.
      This does not correspond to the Java version.

      Steps to Reproduce:

      1. Try placing candles aiming at the side of an adjacent block.

      Observed Results:

      Candles will not be placed.

      Expected Results:

      Candles must be placed.
