Was playing on a new world and started to notice that the diamonds seemed bugged so I went and did some test in a 50x50 area and had replaced diamond ore with beacons and only about 9 ores were in a 50x50 chunk from y=7 to y=16

Just wanted to say something because I think that this could be a serious problem.
