Whenever I start Minecraft on my laptop, all of the skins I have created in my profile are reset to Steve/Alex skins except for one. I've tried restarting and updating my application, but nothing brings them back and I lose all my customizations for avatars every time I start up Minecraft. 

All of my worlds and other settings are intact, it just seems to keep resetting my character edits.
