Aside from all of the other volume sliders whose names match Java, the master slider is called "main." This makes its purpose a bit unclear. Does it control certain sounds in some kind of "main" category?

The "master volume" label makes clear that it affects all sounds played by the game. Other labels that might make sense would be "game" or "everything," but I think most people are familiar with the idea of master volume.
