Signs placed are darker than ones placed in older versions. I believe this is caused by the ability of dyes being able to dye signs introduced in 1.16.220.

This causes signs to become dark, rendering the old colour codes begining with § useless because of the terrible colours. This also affects the vanilla emojis. Additionaly, the signs dyed by vanilla dyes are also dark.
