When you do a 1 block wide bridge to get to the other place this bug happened before 1.17. So try breaking a block infront of you (make surd that you are at the end of the bridge) and move forward. The animation is still going even when there is no block placed. 
Step 1: Make a 1x1 block bridge
Step 2: Stand on the block before the last block
Step 3: Break the block (Make sure you're in survival mode to perform this)
Step 4: While the animation is still going, move forward
And there, the animation is still going, it's like there's an invisible block on it.
