Attempting to place an item in a minecart with chest causes the game to crash. After reloading the game, certain actions made prior to interacting with the chest are reversed, such as breaking a block or placing an item like a cauldron. Also, maps in frames will become invisible. Breaking the frame drops the frame plus the map like normal.
