Steps to Reproduce:

1. Dig 1 block down;
2. Place lava inside of the hole;
3. Place powder snow on top of the surrounding blocks;
4. Aim at one of the snow blocks' sides and try placing one more to extinguish yourself while "hugging the wall";
5. Repeat the process on all 4 directions.

Observed Results:
When going against the southern and eastern sides, you'll see and hear infinite extinguishing particles.

Expected Results:
The powder snow melts once, and the player doesn't interact with the block that's next to it.
