Steps to Reproduce:

1. open  inventory
2. find painting
3. add to hotbar
4. place  painting (black block outline disappears on block you've placed it on.)
5. break painting

Expected Results:

Painting texture appears

observed results:

doesn't appear, but breaking particles still show up
