I was playing on iPad when I found this glitch, and i was in a ravine coved with water. The ground was mostly obsidian, but a hole behind some lava, left over, kept it from transforming into obsidian or stone. I went to it and found I could still burn myself in it. I know my screenshot wasn't very visible but it is lava, not cobblestone.
