I planted some fern, and used bonemeal to turn them to large ferns, and it did turn into large fern, but it doesn't consume any bonemeal. It should.

On rare occassions, I cannot use bonemeal on certain ferns at all. Using it does not turn them to large fern and does not consume bone meal. It seems to happen on certain specific locations.
