Ever since the mandatory update, my Realms world is unusable (yet I'm paying for it each month). My son and I play split screen with his brothers playing remotely (via Microsoft Gold). We are each on our own accounts, even on the split screen. Whenever the second person enters (no matter whether it's me, the owner, or my son through the friends tab) the second person starts at the world spawn with no inventory, no experience). It seems to be creating another account in Realms because when that person exits and reenters, they start with a new person AGAIN so any progress made was lost. This does not show as a guest account, it actually has our username attached as our tag. If we both quit and the other person starts out, all of their profile items are once again returned, but then the other person who logs in loses theirs. This makes the game unusable.
As a test, we had the two people enter split screen (the second one was a new 0xp, 0inventory person), and rather than quitting, I attempted to log in on my iOS device. I did not receive the error that I was already in the Realm. Instead I correctly loaded, but I could see "myself" standing motionless, with my player tag floating. My son could see both of my avatars, both with the same player tag. The buggy one was a generic Steve, while mine had the correct skin attached. Please fix soon because Realms is useless in this state and we will be forced to cancel the subscription.
