I'm not sure if this is a problem with the resource / behavior pack, or the way Minecraft handles resource / behavior packs, but something went wrong here, twice now. when Minecraft tells me I need to download a resource pack every time I join the same world, I'm thinking its a Minecraft problem?
Maybe last week, maybe the week before? Created a new Oneblock world. Played for the night, saved and closed. Today, tried to reopen the world, it said we need to download a pack of some sort. thought there must have been an update, because we just played it last week. but ok, downloaded it. Entered the world. i think maybe the gold sparkles were not surrounding the "one block" we mined it, nothing replaced it. tried quitting, returning, nothing, BUT, again it wanted us to download the pack, did it again. still nothing.. Put our inventory into chests, jumped off the edge, respawned, still nothing. Quit again, restarted, and AGAIN, wanted us to download the pack.
Checked the world settings, looked in Active behavior and resource packs, both had "One Block Skyblock" "this pack is missing" the icon was a picture frame with a red question mark.
When I looked under "My Packs" and One Block Skyblock was listed with the proper logo. added it to active resource and behavior, tried again. not the gold stars appear around the "one Block, but nothing there to mine, money and blocks mined tally increments up about 10 blocks per second unless you place a block where the "One Block' should be, then it stops. mine it, nothing replaces it, numbers climb again.
started a new world. everything in the new world worked fine. spent the night working in there, no problems. was able to save, quit, return, everything is fine with that world.
Does anyone know what happened? was there an update? is there a way to save my other world?
Thanks
