My son and I have been playing this world for over a year. He joined the game today for the first time since last weekend (splitscreen multi-player) and it it seems as though the game wasn't accessing his player data.

After a few hours of troubleshooting, I've found that regardless of which account player 1 is signed in as, player 2 seems to be acting as though it were a guest account, as player specific profile and market features are non-accessible and the start menu states that player 2 is not signed in. All the while, player 2 is signed in on the Xbox and it even shows player 2's gamertag in game. The result is that player 2's player data is reset on every map that was previously accessed.

I performed system resets, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and cleared his player data. I have yet to try clearing my player data, as I'm worried about losing potentially thousands of hours of progress. I figured I'd save that for a last ditch effort, as maybe the issue lies somewhere else.

Please let me know if there is any other information that I can provide which may assist in troubleshooting this issue.

           Thank you!

      Joe
