I can't create black dye or make a book and quill with an ink sac. It stopped working.

      I cannot make a book and quill or black dye.  Apparently the ink sac doesn't register as an item when placing it on a crafting table. This is new. I have browsed current issues and cannot find it. Please see the current screenshots I have attached.  If you need anything further please ask.
