When trying to /give something in large quantities, it does not give the correct amount. It seems to be an issue when giving more items than can fit in 36 inventory slots, regardless of the item (eg: giving 2305 grass blocks will end up giving 2304 to fit in the inventory). In this case, I ran /give shield 54, and ended up with 36.
